BBC Annual Meeting 2026 Registration

The Basel Breast Consortium invites you to its 11th international annual meeting on:

“Breakthroughs in breast cancer research and treatment”

The four half-days of conference will take place from Monday 19th at 14:00 to Wednesday 21st at 13:00 of October 2026. The three sessions will let basic researchers, clinicians and industry representatives discuss current topics on breast cancer treatment. Short talks from selected abstracts and two poster sessions allow for convivial exchange.

The meeting will take place at the University Hospital Basel. 

Registration:

Early bird Registrations with abstract submissions will be open via the form below until September 10th, 2026.

Late registrations without abstract submission will be possible until October 05th, 2026.

The payment instruction is sent automatically by email after registration. Please also check your spam folder.

  • Fees for Academics (PhD, Postdoc, PIs, clinical researchers, core facilities): CHF 250 per person
    >>> If 4 or more people from a same team is joining, the group will pay a flat fee of CHF 1000. In this case, the first member to register pays the full fee (CHF 1000) and mentions in the comment section “Group fee + name of the lab/team”. The following members to register do not have to pay any fee but please remember to mention the name of the group/lab in the comment section.   • Fees for Industry participants: CHF 400 per person

    The fee includes the conference attendance, coffee breaks and apéro riche and refreshments during the poster sessions.

After September 10th, a late registration fee of CHF 100 per participant will apply.

Abstract submission: Everyone who submitted an abstract should bring a poster (max. A0 – portrait). During the two poster sessions, 4 “Best Posters” will be selected.

Short talks selection: Two weeks prior to the meeting, abstracts will be reviewed and selected for “Short Talks”. The selected people will be informed in due time.

Poster and Short Talk Awards: 4 Best Posters and 1 Short Talk will be awarded during the last session on Wednesday.
